Our Mission

The Mission of the Louisiana Costal Tribes Coalition is to strengthen area-wide disaster coordination in the tribal communities of the Bayou Lafourche Band of Biloxi-Chitimacha Indians, Grand Caillou/Dulac Band of Biloxi-Chitimacha Indians, Isle de Jean Charles Band of Biloxi-Chitimacha Indians, and the Pointe au Chien Indian Tribe by sharing information, simplifying tribal members access to services, disaster preparedness, and jointly resolving cases with disaster-caused recovery needs, doing so in the hopes and dreams of our people for the preservation of our unique coastal tribe’s culture and traditions.


Coalition Profile

Coalition members are the Bayou Lafourche Band of Biloxi-Chitimachas, Grand Caillou/Dulac Band of Biloxi-Chitimachas, Isle de Jean Charles Band of Biloxi-Chitimachas and the Point au Chien Indian Tribe.  Our Board of Directors is comprised of leaders of the aforementioned tribes.
